Holy Spirit School is situated on the corner of Prune and Mutsch Streets, Lavington. It serves the community of Albury/Wodonga and environs.
PHYSICAL NATURE OF THE SCHOOL
Holy Spirit School is set on 1.5 hectares of landscaped grounds. The cream brick buildings consist of an Administration block which includes the Library, a Reading Recovery room, two resource rooms, a music room, audio visual room, two special needs areas as well as fifteen fully equiped comfortable classrooms. All rooms are cabled for internet access and are carpeted, air conditioned and heated. The Library houses an extensive collection of fiction and non-fiction books and a variety of resources for teachers and students.
The school has over one hectare of grassed area as well as the use of Black Range Oval which adjoins the school. A large portion of the inner enclosed area has an all weather surface which contains netball, basketball and handball courts. A large weather shed connects the administration block to the Infant classrooms and provides valuable shade and seating areas for our students. Shading areas are enhanced by wide verandahs in the Infant’s Quadrangle.
