The Library is an important part of our school. All classes make regular use of the Library. A Librarian is employed to maintain the Library and to assist teachers and children in efficient use of the Library. The Library is open at lunch times on particular days each week for the children’s benefit.
The librarian is always grateful for the help of parents with cataloguing and reparing of books.
All children are expected to have a library bag to carry their borrowed books. Parents are expected to ensure that their children care for and return borrowed articles.
As of 2017, the Canteen will be closed. This is due to the lack of parent helpers available to keep it running.
Lunch orders are available Wednesday to Friday outsourced to Murray High School. The pricelist is available to download here.
School Uniform Shop
The school operate a second hand uniform shop through which parents may purchase or sell second-hand clothing. The Shop relies on donations of school uniforms, and they are always gratefully accepted. Parents wishing to sell their clothing are welcome, with 30% commission going to the school. All proceeds from the Uniform Shop go to the school. The Uniform Shop opening hours are 8.45am to 9.10am Wednesdays. Any changes to opening hours are advertised in the School Newsletter.
